Tipsnguts is a collection of tools and agent skills for developers, made by Nirav Bhatt, who writes the Brain Bound Learning newsletter.
Who writes it
Nirav Bhatt writes Brain Bound Learning, a publication on Substack about building, learning and shipping: industry predictions, product thinking, AI-assisted learning, linguistics and cognitive science, written for engineers, researchers and students. Tipsnguts.com is its companion site. The newsletter carries the long-form thinking; this site carries what you can download and use.
What is here
- Tools — downloadable browser apps that do one job each.
- Agent Skills — downloadable skills for coding agents, published here as they ship.
The tools live in the Single Page Sandbox — PDF Unlock, AI Writing Detector, Formula Worksheet Maker, Banner Maker, Form Maker Plus, Form Maker and QR Maker.
How the Single Page Sandbox tools are built
Each Sandbox tool is one HTML file. No build step, no package manager, no runtime CDN — any third-party library a tool needs is vendored into the file itself. Because a tool is one self-contained document, it needs no account and no server: your text, images, CSVs and PDFs are processed inside the browser and never uploaded, because there is nowhere to upload them to. Download the file and it keeps working offline, with nothing installed.
Downloadable
Every tool downloads as a file you keep and run yourself — no account, no watermark, no subscription. The site's analytics are cookieless and record page views, not content.
The guts
Most tools have a companion post on Brain Bound Learning explaining how it was built and why it works the way it does. That is the guts half of the name: how a thing works, written down so the next developer can reuse it.
